2022-2023 American Women Quarters, Uncirculated

The American Women Quarters are a 5 per year, four-year program that celebrates the contributions of women to the development and history of our country. The observe features a portrait of George Washington sculpted by Laura Gardin Fraser. It was the recommended design for the new 1932 quarter to mark Washington's birthday, but Treasury Secretary Mellon overrode her design and selected the one we've seen since 1932.
